SUMMARY:EU Clusters Talks: Keeping up with the Euroclusters: Achievements and lessons learned
DESCRIPTION:On September 1\, 2022\, the EU Industrial Strategy initiated the launch of 30 Euroclusters\, which are strategic initiatives encompassing industry clusters\, research organizations\, and companies across Europe. These Euroclusters are designed to be cross-sectoral\, interdisciplinary\, and trans-European\, aiming to foster resilience and expedite the transition to a green and digital economy. One of their key roles is to offer financial support to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) for various projects\, thereby contributing to innovation and growth. Numerous Euroclusters have already issued calls for SMEs to secure funding for initiatives such as innovation projects\, training programs\, and matchmaking activities. They have also gained extensive knowledge regarding the challenges present within their ecosystems. \nTo highlight the progress made by the Euroclusters thus far\, the European Cluster Collaboration Platform\, acting on behalf of the European Commission’s DG GROW\, is organizing the EU Clusters Talk titled “Keeping up with the Euroclusters: Achievements and Lessons Learned.” This event will take place on June 28\, 2023\, from 8:30 to 9:45 CET. The purpose of this talk is to provide insights into the accomplishments of the Euroclusters\, share successful activities undertaken\, and reflect upon the lessons learned from the initial calls for SMEs.

DESCRIPTION:Industry 5.0 is just entering Ukraine. The Industry 5.0 topic is the successor to Industry 4.0\, of which APPAU is the leader. Since 2016\, APPAU has created hundreds of content items\, strategic documents\, analytical reports\, etc. \nAbout the conference Industry 5.0 in Ukraine\nIndustry 5.0 is about the next stage in development of smart manufacturing\, where the focus shifts from aspects of digital technologies to factors of sustainable development\, circular production and strategic governance. The first conference on the topic of 5.0 in Ukraine will gather all the Ukrainian Industry 4.0 movement participants on July 14 in Kyiv – customers\, integrators\, developers\, vendors\, startups and universities\, as well as government organizations. \nThe event is being held as part of the Swiss-Ukrainian project “Strengthening MSME Business Associations in Ukraine (Phase II)”\, implemented by the United Nations Development Program in Ukraine (UNDP) together with the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine and with the support of the Swiss government. \nGoals and objectives of the conference Industry 5.0 in Ukraine\nPresentation of the 1st version of the dual digital and green transition roadmap \nConsolidation around the key challenges and areas of action of the Industry 5.0 \nExpanding the circle of Smart Industry participants\, including policy-makers and international organizations \nPresentations of 5.0 programs by APPAU and Ukrainian Cluster Alliance\, of innovations and Ukrainian developers’ potential \nThe target audience of Industry 5.0 remains the same\, including\n1) end customers – industrial enterprises (managers\, heads of ACS-IT services\, chief engineers and technical directors)\,\n2) vendors\,\n3) system integrators and developers\,\n4) universities\,\n5) policymakers (government officials at various levels). \nRead more about the conference and register here.
