The modernization of two ship-loading machines for a modern production and transshipment complex on the territory of the Mykolaiv seaport was carried out by S-Engineering. This project is invested by the American agro-industrial company Bunge Limited *.

Specialists were faced with the task of synchronizing the movement of dumping carts with the movement of ship loading machines (SLM). Note that a feature of the project was the modernization of loading machines designed for loading potassium into machines for loading grain crops. At the same time, S-Engineering specialists developed new documentation for the SLM.

This project solved the independent movement of the SLM along the loading line of the vessel, full control over the operation of conveyors (belt deflection sensors, bearing temperature control). Also, our specialists performed the replacement of the security system (installed emergency stop cable sensors). The S-Engineering team performed the design, developed and implemented software, carried out the installation and commissioning works.

* The industrial complex of the oil extraction plant and the terminal for transshipment of food products is located at berths No. 13, 14 on the territory of the Mykolaiv seaport. S-Engineering began cooperation with Bunge Limited in this project in 2015 with the implementation of design work and continued to supply electrical equipment for the construction of an automated control system for the steam power shop of this complex. Also, the specialists of our company have developed software and performed commissioning works for the implementation of an automation system for the steam power shop.
