Anti-pandemic program for Ukraine from international consultancy leader EY (ex. Ernst & Young) has been recently supported and promoted by APPAU through its channels. In analytic digest #4 which was fully dedicated to the topic «Digital communities fight COVID-19» we called this program as the most advanced since the beginning of COVID-19 in Ukraine. Why we were so generous and put this program so high?
The program merits such ranking at least for 5 reasons:
- It is really strategic. It is quite relevant to Ukrainian situation, consistent. accounting all necessary elements and mention all stakeholders.
- It is actionable as it shows clear way how to proceed step-by-step.
- It is «digital» as mention digital transformation of supply chain, telemedecine, modeling and data science methods.
- The program well describes roles among many stakeholders what is crucially important with regard to Ukrainian realities and weak power.
- Last but not least the program is one of few available at such level for expert discussion. It is a bit strange regarding the scale and level of pandemic and economic challenges Ukraine faces. But it is a true.
Only a note we addressed to authors (a local EY team) it is about clear distinguishing between eHealth and MedTech segment with prioritizing MedTech for local manufacturing program which should be implemented as soon as possible.
So, APPAU recommends this program to all its partners and COVID-19 stakeholders.
