1 June 2023 – 2 June 2023
The EU’s funding instrument for the environment and climate action is the LIFE programme. Established in 1992, it has provided co-financing for numerous projects. The latest iteration, the LIFE programme 2021-2027, is managed by the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA) and has a budget of €5.4 billion. It is divided into four sub-programmes:
- Nature and biodiversity
- Circular economy and quality of life
- Climate change mitigation and adaptation
- Clean energy transition
The calls for proposals for the LIFE programme 2023, including the calls for Clean energy transition, were published on the Funding & tender opportunities portal on May 11, 2023.
To provide detailed information about the calls for Clean energy transition, a dedicated virtual information session is scheduled for June 1st from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm. You can find the agenda for this session on the specified website.
Additionally, CINEA organized the virtual EU LIFE Info Days on April 25-26, where potential applicants were guided through the LIFE 2023 Calls for applications. The slides and recordings from the various sessions can be accessed on the provided link.
