The First Ukrainian-Scandinavian Economic Forum is set to take place online on April 25th in Kyiv, organized by the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as a member of the EEN Ukraine consortium, in collaboration with the Institute of Physics, the Ukrainian Cluster Alliance, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, diplomatic missions of the Scandinavian countries in Kyiv, and the largest Ukrainian retail chains.
The purpose of the event is to establish bilateral trade relations and enhance Ukraine’s cooperation with the Scandinavian countries. The forum aims to inform business circles from Denmark, Norway, Finland, Sweden, and Ukraine about the current economic situation and business environment in the countries. It will also cover topics such as recovery and support for Ukraine during the war, establishing direct business contacts between potential partners, highlighting promising areas of cooperation between Ukraine and the Scandinavian countries, particularly with regards to facilitating access of Ukrainian goods to the EU markets.
Representatives from various sectors, including energy, agriculture, food industry, infrastructure, logistics and transport, scientific and technical cooperation, and industrial complex and machine building, will participate in the forum. The event will feature business circle representatives, high-ranking officials, diplomats, and experts.
The forum will be of particular interest to those in the agricultural and logistics industries, with b2b communication offered within the framework of the EU-Ukraine Solidarity Belt Business Networking Platform.
Attending the event will be the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, the largest national retail chain Epicentr, as well as the diplomatic missions of Denmark, Norway, Finland, and Sweden.
The event will take a hybrid format, and simultaneous translation will be available in both Ukrainian and English. The forum provides an excellent opportunity to discuss interesting issues of bilateral cooperation and prospects for further collaboration.
